Gdansk - Decent Upbeat News (tape, 1982?)

No cover for this one. Gdansk was the duo of Dirk and Willem van Weelden, two brothers from Groningen, playing piano and guitar, in some nicely constructed songs, a bit Dome like at times. They had a flexidisc with Vinyl. These days Willem is a visual artist and Dirk a writer, both quite well-known. This rip is low bit rate and donated by someone. Not how we do things normally, but I am glad I could post this anyway. Check Harold Schellinx' book on Ultra for more information on them. Its a great book for information on early 80s post punk music in The Netherlands
